There were a couple of missing fonts from the drawings that create the stacked fractions and other special characters. A google search didnt readily provide any downloadable fonts. Does anyone know where to find the following fonts: ADDWG.SHX, DETAIL.SHX, and DTL-BIG.SHX. I think the DTL-BIG.SHX font is the one we really need to get the proper fractions and characters. Alternatively, if anyone happens to know the character conversion that would be helpful as well. We have figured out the 116 fraction conversions, but there are additional numberscharacters that we could use help with. Without them you will have to know what each character is supposed to be, change to fonts you have then manually replace each special character one at a time. Ive opened drawings from 2014 with the font on them, but 2018 converts it to a plain font. Shx Font Format How To Add ItIve also been on the Alternate Font command, but my font isnt listed there, and Im not sure how to add it so I can make it a default. Then start your AutoCAD, open your drawing and it should appear. For instance, if your Architxt.shx is not installed in your 2018 product, AutoCAD could substitute ROMANS.shx instead. The one font file I found was a drawing file, and not the same fonts as in the Alt Text options. ![]() I also filled in architxt.shx in the box in altfont, but it would not accept it. Surely theres a place either in Autocad mode or File explorer mode that I can access the shx and TT fonts. Please find your architxt.shx file in a location such as c:Program FilesAutodesk 2014Fonts or use the one I attached in my prior post. Place it in the c:Program FilesAutodesk LT 2018Fonts folder. An easy way to fix the path is to Reset Settings to Default. I must have been missing a step, because now the architxt.shx file is shown in the text table in 2018. However it has an exclamation point in a triangular icon next to it, and does not convert the text to the one I know. Does it need another step to make it accessible Thanks for your help. When I attempt to change the shown text to the newly loaded one, nothing happens. ![]()
